I used the government run bus system to
get around today and i was quite suprised to
see at the government run and government
paid for bus stop bible quotations in the
The bus stop was in Scottsdale on the
northwest corner of 68th street & Indian School Road.
They had a bunch of quotes in granite blocks.
One of the quotes was from Duet in the Christian
Bible. I would have wrote it down if I had
a pen with me.
I don't know who paid for them, I think each
city pays for the bus stops in their city
so the city of Scottsdale probably paid
for the bible quotes at the bus stop.
Maybe some people could complain to city
officials and valley metro bus officials
and guv hull about this abuse of government
money. I doubt if it will stop the abuse
but at least we can let them know we don't
approve of it. Here are a few things to
- 1st Amendment from US Constitution
- Article 2 section 12 of Arizona Constitution
which forbids government spending for religous krap.
- The email addresses of the government rulers
who run the city of Scottsdale.
OK its the email
addresses of the mayor and city councilmen but I'm
sure they like to think of themselves as royal rulers
- Email addresses of Valley Metro officials
- Arizona governor Jane Hulls Email address
