Church State Issues

ASU and Catholic college University of Mary mixing religion and govenrment

Feb 15, 2014

As I was going to the atheist event last night at ASU I saw this ASU building over on 7th Street (it's just North of University Drive), and just west of College Avenue which in Downtown Tempe.

I shot a photo of on the door.

If you look at the photo it says

www.umary.edu/asu
Which redirects to this when you click on it
www.umary.edu/academics/programs/asu.php
It says:
In an unprecedented collaboration, the University of Mary - a Christian, Catholic and Benedictine university of more than 3,100 students in Bismarck, North Dakota - has teamed with Arizona State University to bring course work in theological studies and Catholic Studies to the Phoenix metro area.

The University of Mary offers programs at the All Saints Newman Center in Tempe.
