Church State Issues

Lawmakers shouldn't force same-sex views

May 21, 2014

Arizona Republic

Lawmakers shouldn't force same-sex views

If you think gay marriage sucks, then don't have one!!!!

If you think liquor is the tool of the devil, then don't drink liquor.

If you think marijuana is evil, then don't smoker marijuana.

Conservatives who control the Arizona Legislature preach religious liberty. Now, they need to practice it!

There are established churches in Arizona that want to marry same-sex couples. However, their liberty to do so has been restricted by the very same conservative lawmakers who preach, but do not practice, religious liberty.

It's time for the hypocrisy to stop. It's time for conservative lawmakers to grant all clergy the liberty to marry whomever they want to and stop the current discriminatory charade.
